Web Design Project for Non-Profit Organization
Project Date: 2021
My Role: Web Designer/Developer
Project Summary: In 2021, I spearheaded a comprehensive web design project for Communities in Schools of Rome-Floyd County (CIS), aiming to craft a visually striking and user-friendly website that effectively communicated the organization's mission and values. This project demanded the utilization of both creative and technical skills to produce a dynamic online platform tailored to the unique needs of the client.
The Challenge: The development of CIS's website presented several challenges, including the need to conceptualize content and design that resonated with the organization's audience while ensuring ease of navigation and accessibility. It was essential to create an engaging interface that effectively conveyed CIS's message and facilitated interaction with its services and initiatives.
Solution: To address these challenges, I collaborated closely with the client throughout the project, from conceptualization to implementation. Leveraging the powerful GoDaddy platform, I meticulously designed and developed a visually appealing website with a user-friendly interface. Emphasizing intuitive navigation and captivating design elements, I ensured that visitors could easily access information and engage with CIS's mission and values.
Results: The website received overwhelmingly positive feedback from CIS's audience, affirming the success of my efforts in creating a compelling online presence for the organization. The intuitive design and engaging content facilitated increased user interaction and bolstered awareness of CIS's initiatives within the community. Furthermore, the enduring use of my initial design serves as a testament to its effectiveness in supporting CIS's mission and goals, highlighting the enduring impact of my expertise in web development.
